Water Shutdown

Moncks Corner Water Works will be conducting a scheduled shutdown of a water main located between Highway 17A and White Street on Thursday, September 25, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The shutdown is not expected to last longer than one hour.
During this time, water pressure in the area will be reduced. As a precautionay measure, we are advising customers to vigorously boil all cooking and drinking water for a least one (1) minute until laboratory results confirm that the water is safe for consumption. This is a standard precaution and does not mean that the water system has been contaminated.
We expect test results by Monday, September 29, 2025, and will notify customers promptly once they are received.
